Rosalie’s vast experience working in child welfare as well as with seniors and other vulnerable populations helps her lead the diverse programs offered by Life Essentials. As a social worker Rosalie feels her work is a service to others. She lives by the Emerson poem, “to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” The guiding principle in her fifteen plus year career in social services has been her belief that work can and should be fun, even when things are difficult. A native of Dayton, she has had the opportunity to live in various parts of the country and the world. Now back home, Rosalie enjoys cooking, gardening and art. More than anything Rosalie loves spending time with family, which includes her husband and grown children. One of her greatest joy is helping raise her four-year-old grandson.
