The Chums program enhances the quality of life for its members by equipping them with tools that promote self-management of their mental illness. Life Essentials staff facilitate the program by combining education, networking and behavioral activation services. Participants, ages 50 years and older, learn common themes that contribute to their recovery and skills to help maintain their independence, bond with people in similar situations and take back control of their lives.
